Why won't Weiner resign? What's up with this guy? In any other profession in the real world, if an employee?

was caught up in a scandal of this magnitude, he or she would be terminated. Why is that in the Government sector, it's so hard to fire people? Why is it that it should even be up to him if he should resign? He does all of this damage to himself, his family and his colleagues, and then the ball is still in his court as to whether or not he should resign or not? It's totally absurd. He should do what Eliott Spitzer did, and resign. We have enough problems in our country right now. High unemployment, recession, high gas prices, etc, etc etc, and all the nightly news focuses on is Weinergate. Enough is enough. Either resign or have the President fire this guy. What does it take to get rid of a Congressman? And, save your takes about how this was all done on his personal time and personal computers. That's BS and you know it. It's already been proven and Weiner has admitted to doing this while at work, and even having phone sex while he was in the office. And now it's come out that he was engaging in chats with a 17 year old. Fire this pervert now.
